Bryson DeChambeau has the most unconventional bag in professional golf, and DeChambeau's 2026 season took that to another level. Few players in golf tinker with their equipment as relentlessly as DeChambeau. The story behind Bryson DeChambeau's bag

Nothing in Bryson's bag is off the rack. He famously plays single-length irons, every iron built to the same length and lie, to simplify his swing, and for 2026 those are 3D-printed prototype heads of his own design, individually ground until the USGA ruled them conforming. His driver comes from Krank, a brand best known for long-drive competition, and every shaft in the bag is made by LA Golf. It is the most engineering-driven setup in golf, built around Bryson's obsession with speed and repeatability.

Driver and woods

Bryson games a Krank Formula Fire Pro driver at just 6 degrees of loft, an unusually low number that suits his enormous clubhead speed, fitted with a Project X HZRDUS T1100 6.5 shaft. He backs it with two Krank Formula Fire fairway woods, a 10-degree 3-wood and a 13-degree 3+, both on LA Golf BAD Prototype shafts. It is a power setup few amateurs could handle, but it is perfectly matched to one of the fastest swings in golf. DeChambeau built his game around speed, and this driver is the tip of that spear on the LIV Golf tour.

Irons

The irons are the headline: Bryson DeChambeau Prototype single-length heads from 5-iron through pitching wedge, all built to one length on True Temper Dynamic Gold X7 shafts, among the heaviest, stiffest iron shafts made. The heads were 3D-printed to his exact design and then hand-finished until they passed USGA testing. No other player in the world games anything like them.

Wedges

Bryson's wedge setup is a mix: his own Prototype wedges at 45 and 50 degrees continue the single-length theme, then he switches to a Bettinardi HLX 6.0 at 56 degrees and a Ping Glide 4.0 at 60 degrees for greenside versatility, all on True Temper Dynamic Gold shafts. It is a rare example of a player mixing four different wedge sources to get exactly the performance he wants.

Putter

On the greens Bryson uses a SIK Pro C-Series armlock putter with an LA Golf shaft and a JumboMax JumboFlat 17 grip. The armlock style braces the putter against his lead forearm to take the hands out of the stroke, and the oversized grip further quiets any wrist action, a control-first choice that fits his whole approach.

Golf ball
